When “Zendesk” was clicked on, one was taken to this website. It would appear that Southern Phone has subcontracted customer relations out to Zendesk, who come over so far as absolutely hopeless!

So this was emailed to Southern Phone.

We’ll let you know if we hear further from them, but, as we’re sure our readers will agree, there are no indications so far that Southern Phone is worth considering as an internet service provider.

On the basis of these claims we signed up for a free four week trial, but found their technical support incredibly bad!

In our efforts to find people who will answer questions on technology, we sent this letter by email to this organisation on 12 Jan 2016.

We haven’t heard from them – more than 5 weeks later.

In other words, emailing them is a complete waste of time.

You would think it would be good business for them to have someone email us back saying, “Sorry, we can’t help with this. This is what we do,” with a link to something describing what they do and don’t do – it would only take a few seconds.

As it is, perhaps they would be amongst the last people anyone would want to try to do business with.

We have this theory that good emails may be as effective marketing tools as any – but it’s a theory that doesn’t seem to be shared by too many, least of all, organisations like Unified Communication Partners.
